Acanthus Room

The Acanthus Room takes its name from the leaf on the crown moulding and on the 1925 alabaster chandelier that punctuates its high ceiling. This cozy room is sequestered on the pool level of the house and has been graciously appointed with a queen-size bed with an elaborate antique wrought-iron headboard, luxurious upholstered furniture and all the modern day amenities. The maple hardwood floor has been recycled and restored from a 1910 Los Angeles church, providing a rich tone to the floor. The bathroom features handmade tiles surrounding a generous tub and a tumbled stone floor. Daily three course gourmet breakfast for two, afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres and evening turn-down service included. No resort fees.
